★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying in Victoriaville for the week, & found mention of Cactus via a Google search for late meals. Tried to go to Cactus on Monday for a late dinner (after 9 pm), but kitchen had just closed. Decided to try again on Tuesday after I found an ad for the restaurant in my hotel information guide (including a promotion of a complimentary beverage with purchase of a meal and beverage and proof of hotel room card), but went by 8:15 pm this time. Service from Virginie was excellent (she remembered my earlier failed visit), and fortunately in English (my limited French is more painful for the locals). Virginie brought me an English menu, and she recommended a grapefruit-hops blonde beer (Santa Muerte) I actually liked, despite my not being much of a beer drinker. I asked her for a meal recommendation, and her suggestion of the Cactus Brochette platter (mixed spicy Mexican sausage & beef tenderloin skewer, veggie skewer, salad, rice & fries) was perfect. Was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture. For my free beverage, the manager Patrick recommended a chamomile flavored blonde beer. I also ordered the Baghdad chocolate dessert recommended by Virginie. Had a great conversation with Patrick. Highly recommended for the great staff, good food, and tasty beverages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible bang for the buck! I am not a fan of chicken wings, but you have got to try their special wings. Food is great, fairly wide selection of craft beers, and very large terrace. Maybe the best restaurant in Victoriaville!

I suggest to change the mexican food or write another name, cause people get that imagine having a mexican meal and no its not. Or they really have a not good idea of mexican food if they have never tried. Really disappointed
