My overall experience with replacing my kitchen with CABINETSMITH products. I have to start by saying it was difficult to walk into a big box stores to find Canadian manufactured products. Finally walked into my local hardware store and found CABINETSMITH. I reviewed all their product and took the information back to the wife and we decided then that CABINETSMITH is what we wanted. The design process was easy. Gave them my measurements and within 3 days they had a design that was exactly what we were looking for. It was a go. Upon receiving my order I was a little dismayed. There had been some shipping damage. I am not sure if it was damaged coming from the manufacturer or from delivery from the store. I quickly called CABINETSMITH and they were top notch when it came to correcting the issue. They gave me all of my options on how to get it corrected. I did however have to go back the my hardware store to make the proper claim. The entire project is now complete and I have a "Happy Wife = Happy Life!" Overall I would choose CABINETSMITH again. PRO's - Quality - Punctual - CANADIAN - Warranty Con's - Shipping damage - not open on weekends

I ordered my kitchen cabinets through home hardware. I received just the cabinet boxes on the “delivery date” the next week I received a little bit more of the kitchen. Now I am told I will receive my 3 doors that have been delayed on may 18-24 which will be 2 months from the original delivery date. Horrible customer service would not recommend this company to anyone!!

Cabinets installed and looked great day 1! Month's later they show there quality. Paint chipping on multiple doors. Sad thing is order the kitchen over 2 years ago and never did get my replacement doors that so called flag for quality control when inpected at the factory, stickers still stare at me every time I open my cabinets.

I am changing my review from a 1 star to a 4 star review for Cabinetsmith. I gave a very unflattering review to Cabinetsmith due to the Home Building Centre I bought the cabinets from because they were refusing to refund cabinets that the Kitchen Designer made an error on. I was told that there were no refunds on "Custom Orders" - even though it was the Kitchen Designer's error. We also had a damaged cabinet door and the Kitchen Designer said he would have to see if Cabinetsmith would consider it a warranty return. Needless to say, I projected my frustration onto Cabinetsmith with a negative review. A few days after my negative review, the Kitchen Designer provided my personal information to the Customer Service Specialist. He contacted me directly & went out of his way to ensure that all of my issues with the cabinets were addressed & my cabinets were delivered to Sudbury in a timely fashion. Chris the Customer Service Specialist was very professional and understanding of the situation informing me that their cabinets were not custom cabinets. Chris emailed me regularly and kept me posted on the progress of my order and when it would be ready for pick-up unlike the Home Building Centre. Although I appreciate everything Chris did for us I could only change my review to a 4 star rating because I think it's necessary to have 2 hinge covers with each wall cabinet & screws should be provided with all cabinets. Overall, I was very impressed with the overall customer service that was provided by Cabinetsmith. Thank you so much Chris for all of your assistance! It is very much appreciated!
