Went with 4 friends and we all loved it and were saying how much we look forward to going back again. Curtis answered all our wine questions and gave us great background to each sample. Some very unique wines are carried here that you won't find at the LCBO. The chef, Chris, whipped us up some delicious charcuterie plates and tapas style eats. It was more then a meal, it was a social experience. Highly recommend.

We were excited to learn about the wine and be part of the experience, eager and asking a lot of questions m. Our waiter spent less than 5 minutes explaining our flight of wine. And then did not check on us the rest of the night. Horrible service. However, the chef was exceptional and our on charcuterie/cheese plate was great. I booked this as a special wine tasting occasion and it did not deliver at all. Go to any restaurant and it will be the same thing. What a horrible experience that I was very much looking forward to. Do not recommend.

The service is great and the staff is very knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a unique and fun experience in Ottawa then definitely go here!

The wines are unique and delicious, and the tasting experience is so much fun - and you can learn lots about what you like in a wine if you don't already know. Curtis and Amanda are both awesome and reeeeeally know their stuff. Plus, they sell the wines at retail prices so you can take some home. The place looks extremely high end (wow to the designer) but your bill will always be shockingly reasonable. Try out the food too - it's all made locally or in house and it's delicious (I recommend the charcuterie and the truffle popcorn). I love that they have wines you can't find anywhere else, especially from the more unique regions like Croatia or Jordan. Try this place out - you won't regret it. Perfect for a celebratory drink, catch up with a friend, or a date.
R	R1200RS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of four would-be epicureans headed out for a first time visit to Buyers + Cellars. Our two hour Saturday evening experience there was sensational. Excellently prepared charcuterie boards, mouth watering cheeses (including a Goat Cheese made in-house), competed against a most fascinating list of exceptionally crafted wines. The only thing that outmatched all this was the superb service. Our host, who led us through our flights of wine, was funny, highly personable, and genuinely pleased to share her extensive knowledge. Ottawa finally has a highly sophisticated wine tasting and purchasing room. A place where one can find extremely unique wines available nowhere else that I know of in Canada. Well done, indeed!

Come and explore wines you will not see at LCBO! learn about them from friendly and knowledgeable staff - real sommeliers - in a relaxed and stylish tasting room. You can even enjoy some tasty nibbles - I’ve heard the charcuterie is quite good! This place is definitely 10/10!

They have a posted menu of available wines but also a large list of wines in bottles for sale. With pours in 3 sizes (1oz,3oz,7oz). If you ask for their recommendation for a wine, they may have a bottle not on their posted list open that you can try! This worked out well for me as I got to try a very different unfiltered bio wine (white) and loved it! The service was great, and servers very knowledgeable and passionate about the product. The charcuterie and cheese platters were very delicious as well! Would highly recommend for a date night or for wine lovers in the city.

We used this opportunity to do proper tasting and got a lot of details on each wine we tried. The food complemented perfectly the wines. Definitely going back!
