First and foremost, Michael listened. He gathered the information relevant to the situation, asked good questions and made suggestions on how to proceed. What I received was a course of action which was best suited to my situation, not some cookie cutter response. Michael is knowledgeable of the law and the courts here in Victoria specifically, articulate on courses and potential outcomes, and finally staunchly ethical. Michael brings things to a calm and reasonable level and I left every visit feeling more confident than the last. For me, Michael sought out an amicable negotiated agreement. He found the potential in 2 opposing sides and pulled it off brilliantly. Michael is very well trained in colllaborative mediation and we were able to stay out of court to obtain our agreement. However with your confidence in his preparation he is never far away from a Judge if required. Billing is fair! Jayne keeps things very well organized and tidy. Your never left out of the loop when it comes to expenses in the past or upcoming in the future. Cost estimates were accurate and at times even lower. I typically do thorough research before my endeavours and with respect to family law, I believe I found the best Lawyer in Victoria for me. Jayne is so kind and welcoming, and does a great job of making you feel at ease in their office. Recently Michael helped resolve an issue with obtaining a passport for my daughter.
