A warning based on my last transaction with them: If you buy bandsaw blades there you should inspect the weld first. Mine may suffer an early death from over-zealous grinding by whomever welded it and needed reworking before using it. Good stuff but buyer beware.

When I went to get it they could not find it even though they had it in stock on their computer. One of the staff drove a forklift around looking in different boxes but could not find it. Eventually they told me to go home and when they find it they will call me and hold it for me. I went to pick it up and had no troubles so far. Location is inconvenient, but the store is pretty cool.

The response was to arrange return and resend - that is a 5 star solution and I've adjusted my review accordingly. Thank you! My first experience was to get an old bandsaw manual, emailed promptly, woman was very helpful and friendly. I needed to order parts not on the website, left ph msg, never returned. Called New West store, asked about the part, and about tires for my bandsaw to confirm the part reference was correct for my saw. he said it was. Took my order, it was shipped quickly, but wrong tires. Now they won't return ph or email messages.
M	Mac McDell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's about 20 - 30% more than anywhere else. Zero good deals. I only went because it had a specific type of dust collector I needed. And even that I paid probably 40% more than the other place I used to get them from. It's funny because as soon as you walk in there is this crazy sodium light noise... I say 'wow that is loud and annoying' she replies... ' Yeah everyone says that but I just don't notice it anymore'. Lol... customer hates it and it really isn't necessary but let's just leave it as is.

Days later and still no call so i went into the store to fullfill my order but the selection in stock was poor. There is only one experienced gentleman there who works the rear counter. The other staff are unhelpful, abrupt and rude, or just plain incompetent. If it weren’t for the older gentleman there this place would be the worst tool store I’ve been to.
L	Larry Croome on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not buy the 5 hp single phase CRAFTEX saw or planer. Motors are absolute no name products and an internal switch fail at about 1 hour of use. They will tell you to bring the saw back (950lbs) after I spent a day setting it up with the slide table -that was also out by more than 1/8" Took the motor into a shop for repair and the same switch failed after another hour. Replacing the motor with a name brand and from a local shop that will guarantee the motor. The indeed on their 5 hp planer does not allow more than 1/16" cut. For first planer cut you need 3/16" to be able to knock off the high points -or you will multiply the passes required by 5x. A total waste of $8000! Invest in a European or American mfg.
W	Wayne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service beyond the call. I was going to be very close to closing time so called ahead. Doors had just closed as I arrived, but they still had my order ready and let me in. The computer system would not print a proper invoice, so they said they would mail it to me the next day. Some businesses would simply said to come another day. BBT is always under consideration when I want some thing tool related.
