★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been promised a perimeter drain cleaning for the past 2 months. They're quick to respond when repairing perimeter drains in the tens of thousands of dollars work but when a cleanout (recommended by them) is due - no response to any communication. Gary was supposed to call and make an appointment. I have left a voicemail as has my wife and no response at all. I would NEVER recommend this company as their word cannot be trusted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my roof installed in 2014 by Wally and he and his team did an excellent job. We heard a dripping noise during a recent heavy rainstorm. Left a phone message very late in the day and Wally called first thing the next morning. He had two members of his team at the house later the same day and the roof repaired right away. A vent pipe flashing seal had corroded and it was replaced . Thank you Wally and team, I will continue to recommend you to whomever I meet that has roofing concerns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Wally for getting a new roof and he came over for a look. Dozens of phone calls and a month later I still have not received a quote. Wally said he was waiting for the satellite measurement etc. Meanwhile I was waiting and calling frustrated like pushing on a string. Finally I went with someone else. It is not the cheapest roof I am getting maybe the job is too hard for them and they want easier quicker money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burrard Roofing did a large tar&gravel residential roof for us last year. The work was completed quickly (less than a week) and with good attention to detail. They have been around for decades, which is important with warranty-related projects, and value customer relationships, something you can not replace. We had a leak 6 years back and rather than pushing a $25k complete redo at that time, Wally suggested an inexpensive fix that could potentially solve the problem (and did for 6 years). Sure he knew we'd probably use him once the work needed to be done, but that's good business and we value people like that over the fly-by-night options prevalent today. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Burrard Roofing to others. And so I'm clear, this review actually was posted a year after the job because I was having to contact Burrard to do another job and saw I could post my experience on Google.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I discovered a major leak in an upstairs window and contacted 4 roofing contractors. Wally was the first one on the scene the next morning, even though it was very close to Christmas. He sent out someone in a torrential downpour to fix it the very same day. The problem turned out to be much bigger than a simple fix and I ended up having to have Hardie board installed on an entire wall of the house. Chris and Morgan and all the other guys who came during the various attempts to diagnose the problem and who worked on the final major job were unfailingly pleasant, professional and hard-working - and followed Covid protocols if they had to enter the house. I would definitely use Burrard Roofing again if I needed that kind of work done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We discovered a leak into our basement suite recently and reached out to Burrard Roofing and Drainage. They responded quickly and two of their people came on site to assess the situation. What really impressed me was that they recommended investigations that I could do myself to save myself the cost of them doing it. The leak turned out to be a big job, requiring repair, mold treatment, drywall/insulation replacement and even a new section of laminate to be laid, but the Burrard Roofing team handled everything. Any questions I had were dealt with curteously and promptly. Would definitely recommend these guys.
