The burgers were bad and really overpriced. The patty was thin, stale, dry and salty. The bun and toppings were fine and the patty did have a nice crust, but overall definitely not worth $16. It doesn’t come with fries, so I added the chips and dip for $5 and it turns out they’re just Hardbite brand chips. You get like 10 chips for $5 and they were cold and stale. If the food was good, I’d be totally fine paying $45 for 2 burgers and a side. But it wasn’t, and I’m not even full. We had to go to Costco after to get a $5 poutine.

I swear I had reviewed b4, maybe it was removed. They brought their prices back down after increasing them. Better, still not a fantastic burger for the price (not very filling or anything wow) but it is atleast fresh and decent. I'll skip the soda next time though, $5 is too much.

This food cart is nothing short of a lovesong to the classic smashburger, and you can taste the sincerity in every burger that comes out of Burgerland Smash Up. Maybe a little steep for a burger, but worth every penny for its uncompromising quality. The owner/operator Bodhi is a champ too. With a simple can't-go-wrong menu of beloved burger styles, this place is a must for fellow burger fanatics in Vancouver

Smash burger cannot be cooked any way other than well done. Nonetheless, I received a disturbing "California UP-N-DOWN Smash" that was rare/medium-rare!

Normally I don’t have the time to write reviews but burgerland smash rightfully deserves to be called out for the fantastic job they are doing. I love a good burger and I’ve tried all kinds of burger from BC and this is quite possibly one of the best burgers in town!!! You get what you paid for (and more) because you can tell the quality of the meat is high (and fresh) at first bite. Let’s be real, most burger joints or restaurants use frozen or regular meat from same suppliers and it’s not that special. On top of using high quality meat I love the wonderfully curated sauce and toppings included as the synergy of the ingredients provides a satisfying taste and experience! You can tell that the burgers are created with lots of love and I’m assuming they don’t make in house fries so they don’t deviate their focus from it?!

Bodhi and his team consistently deliver fresh, high quality, organic & grass-fed beef smashburgers - with friendly service and conversation included! I have way too many photos of Burgerland Smash-Up's burgers on my phone from over the past year; I've followed Bodhi's journey and expansion from the Keefer Yard, to the Main Street Brewery, and now evolving with the addition of Sausageland... Local businesses that put this much effort, care and love into what they do need to be supported. Keep it up, Bodhi & the Burgerland team! The people that know their food know that what you guys do is great. I'm just sorry I didn't leave a review sooner!

I had the California burger and it must've been one of the best burgers I've ever had. The quality of the meat, the slightly coarser grind, seasoned perfectly, and cooked with that delicious crust. I cannot recommend this place enough! I had a moment to chat with the owner and in his previous life worked as a head chef for Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. This man brings that level of quality and detail to the timeless smash burger.

Listen, i know youz don't want to hear this, but burgers in Vancouver mostly suck. 10 yrs here now & sooo rarely is anything actually good and never is it worth the price. However, ***Burgerland Smashburgers are actually good & worth the price. *** So, in a food market like Vancouver that is routinely selling trash burgers for $12 and hoping you don't notice that only the fries are edible, this BURGER ROCKS! It is delicious, well-made, and has good regional varieties that make sense and are all tasty. If you grew up on In-n-Out, then get the Vancouver Legend. It's the closest to actual In-n-Out, with better meat. The California Out n In is also good, but it's not In-n-Out. I'm even going to try the Missouri burger. I have never heard of anyone in Missouri eating PB & pickle on their burger, so maybe this is a hilarious joke that I don't get, but i don't care. I trust these burger geniuses to make it taste great. Will let you know later if it turns out great... Hey, what i really want is this type of burger that has a sweet sauce and a fried egg on the top, then stuffed with fries. (Senegalese burger = stuffed with French fries, a fried egg, the patty, Gruyere cheese, fried onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.) If you're taking requests for the menu, it is absolutely delicious.
