★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, food is your average pub food. Good atmosphere in the pub section of the restaurant. Service is average. Could all be better, but when your choices are limited at Big White for places to eat you are here on a ski holiday you enjoy what you have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived around 7:30pm and the restaurant was not busy. We were seated and a waitress came to take our drink and food order. After 15 min, the waitress appeared and we asked about our drink order. After another 15 min, she came to the table and said "oh yeah, your drinks" and then went to get them. We waited another 30 minutes while tables around us had been seated, ordered and eaten food, and ours had still not arrived. At that point even the tables around us were querying why we hadn't gotten our food. While the waitress definitely was busy with several tables in her section, other staff were delivering food to the tables around us so clearly our food was not ready or it would have been delivered. We waited a full hour and couldn't locate our waitress so left cash on the table for the drinks (we looked up the prices and left ample cash), and proceeded to leave. No one even at the host station to let them know why we were leaving. Would definitely not recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outraged that we were charged a gratuity on a pickup order and then given the option to tip more when paying WITHOUT BEING ADVISED. Gratuity is for a service and is at the discretion of the patron once they have tried the food or received good service by your waitress. What a sneaky joke.
Not to mention the food was extremely subpar. Why is the pho completely black yet still have absolutely no flavour. Would not eat here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a full day on the slopes enjoying BigWhite, we dropped in to Bullwheel for a Friday night bite.. Without exaggeration, the was one of the finest meals we have had. Joe our server was a delight, the timing of everything was spot on...but every bit of the meal was a burst of flavor. Best bang for the buck on the hill...and this 6oz filet would have even the Keg envious! Found our new go to @BigWhite

Great food and service and sitting position
But I'm pretty sure later in the evening it'll be harder and things will get busier. BE EXPECTING long wait time when it's busy hour. Carbonara was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bull Wheel meal listed as Ribs was divine. The preparation, smoked meat and glazes were superlative. The ribs were served on fresh coleslaw and lightly toasted potatoes. Five stars and more.
Terrific staff and decor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bullwheel was our go-to place for breakfast, lunch and Après-ski. We had skied 8 days at Big White and stopped there almost daily.
The drinks (beer, cocktails or wine) were cold and the food was delicious.
We ate 7-9 different dishes and they were all fresh and tasty. Also, the following waiters made us feel welcome and served us very well: Ali, Eleanor S., Eleanor R., Laura S., Meredith G., and Zoe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been a few years since we have been here, and we are glad we came back. Service is good, friendly and personable. Food is better than we remembered. Of particular note are the ribs, well braised and fall off the bone. The poutine is a substantial size and the Bao buns are top notch. Actually all the food we had hit the spot and it all came out in a reasonable time! We will be back before the end of the season. Thanks to the staff at the bullwheel, both front and back of house. It was a great meal and experience!
