Buena Vista Montessori Preschool

This school year is my daughter's and our family's first experience with Buena Vista Montessori and we have nothing but AMAZING things to say about the program and the teachers. The teachers are incredibly warm and loving. From the first week my three year old felt comfortable being at school without me and looked forward to her school days. The classroom is welcoming, fun and filled with amazing learning tools. The program has created curiosity and excitment in her and I have noticed increased independance at home as well. We are so grateful to be a part of Buena Vista and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for such a program. Teacher Bree has cultivated a magical space of learning and fun!

When I first was looking for a preschool for my first child, the 2 things that were important for me where, a fun and loving learning environment and the length of the morning session. I found this in Buena Vista Montessori. I am there now for our 5th year and I can't imagine the lives of my children without this lovely place and amazing teachers. The loving and calm teaching environment has been so beneficial for all my 3 kids, all of them are so different, but the teacher always seem to find the right way to teach them. The 4 hours a day was a bonus! It is amazing how much the kids learn, when they go to Kindergarten most of them are reading/writing (small books and simple words) and basic counting/math. Besides this, every week there is a new theme and work stations to go with that. In this fun environment there is singing, sharing, work time with letters, numbers and practical living, story time, lunchtime, clean up time and the best part is that the kids play outside every day (no matter what the weather!!), for which they have a great little play ground. I have recommended this preschool to many of my friends. For all the above reasons, but mostly because it is truly a great safe and warm environment to drop your kids off.....Last but most important, the teachers are absolutely fantastic. So great with the kids, but also so warm and welcome with the parents, which in my opinion is very important if you leave your 3 and 4 year old kids somewhere. During our fourth year at this school, we moved farther away, but still I make the drive out to Buena Vista Montessori, I would not want my kids to miss out on this little piece of heaven on earth!

My two children both attended Buena Vista Montessori Preschool and thrived tremendously. They always came home happy and full of energy and enthusiasm from their day. Teacher Bree and Teacher Linda are outstanding teachers who genuinely care about the children. It really is a happy little place where kindness, respect and autonomy are emphasized. I would, without a doubt, recommend this precious preschool.

It’s a fantastic preschool! I have choosed 4 preschools,but my daughter only would like to go to Buena vista preschool .its also my favorite preschool,the tidy classroom,the beautiful garden, the kind teachers ，the rich and interesting teaching plan,my daughter has had a good time there.

Buena Vista Montessori is such a positive and engaging environment for children! From the first time I walked into the school, I knew I wanted my Son to attend! The children are constantly building their confidence by learning to complete tasks on their own, which really benefits them outside the classroom as well. The teachers have such a calm, gentle and caring way about them, which sets the tone for the entire classroom. The children are treated with such respect and learn how to respect others as well. There is no doubt in my mind that Buena Vista has been the perfect fit for my Son! Even when he experienced some significant separation anxiety a couple months into the year, Teacher Bree was amazing at working on strategies to help get him through the door as well as settling him after any tough goodbyes. He over came this phase and has been as happy as can be ever since!

We LOVEE Buena Vista montessori school and all the teachers! They’re the best! My daughter spent almost 2 years here and she really came out of her shell. Not a single day she wanted to miss a class because she enjoys every second she’s there. She wasn’t potty trained when she started school but a few days after, she came home potty trained and never had any accident. I know it’s different from every child but with her, for someone to take that time to help start something like that, must have a really big heart and really loves what she’s doing. That’s why it was hard when covid hit and we decided to not enroll her, and that was not the best decision. We have seen how they’re being on top of everything so we decided to re-enroll her (thankful for the spot that someone left open). This school builds such a good foundation for a child’s learning in all aspects. And I love how this school helps in the community and gives everyone opportunity to do as well. My daughter still talks about Buena vista Montessori and Teachers Bree, Linda and Ashley. So yes! this is the best Montessori preschool in WR! If you get a spot, grab it. You won’t regret it. ❤️?

My daughter has attended Buena Vista Montessori preschool for almost 2 years and I cannot be happier with our choice to send her here. The educators are absolutely amazing with the kids and have played a huge role in my daughter’s growth and development. She is a completely different child maturity-wise since starting here last year. She’s developed a strong love for learning, impeccable manners, empathy towards others, and self confidence through independence. She has made many friends and (most importantly) looks forward to going to school every day. Montessori is a wonderful learning approach for young children and I truly believe this school is the best option in the area that offers this method. I feel confident that my daughter will be fully prepared to make a smooth transition to kindergarten this fall, thanks to this amazing preschool and it’s educators :)

I am so glad we found this gem of a preschool. Both my girls have attended and they are such confident girls who always try to excel to the best of their abilities thanks to the amazing teachers. All the teachers here are genuine, caring and loving. Buena Vista is able to nurture each individual child. The kids are given opportunities to work at their level in an enriching environment. There is differentiated instruction which is so important in a class with different needs and abilities. The teachers care deeply for each child. My youngest has a nut allergy and teacher Bree offered to get her nut free ingredients so she could participate in decorating a cookie during Christmas time. How amazing is that?! My daughters are learning to be good citizens from their preschool years by giving back to the community through toy drives and food drives organized by Buena Vista. As well, kids are given opportunities to make cards for the residents of the local care home. I think it’s so important to teach children to be kind and Buena Vista does just this! I think it’s paramount that kids get a good start to their schooling. Thank you to the teachers for ensuring my children are receiving a well balanced education. I feel very blessed to be a part of this school and know my girls will remember their preschool years fondly. <3
