The entire process was awful and left us feeling like a had hired an amateur. Terrible communication, sub par work and an overall disapointing experience. Now we are left with a backyard we have to hire again to fix as they won't come back to address the issues. Pete loses contact with you once he receives your money. BSH landscape has great service, quality workmanship and the crew was extremely friendly. Since completion we have had many compliments on the work that was done. A highly recommended company.

Avoid this landscaper! Pete walked away from the job after I paid him 1/2 ($1800 CASH so he wouldn't have to pay taxes) of the bill before he even started the project. He said it wasn't worth his time to come back and fix the multiple errors he did. The biggest one is he stated that he would take a stump grinder to get rid of the tree in the front yard. Well ONE MONTH later I have a tree trunk starting to grow underneath my artificial grass. He cut the tree down and just put crusher dust over the stump so I wouldn't see that he didn't actually remove the tree stump and the roots (stump was approx 5" in diameter) who does this? Now there is a big bump under the grass where the tree is starting to grow. He ordered cheaper artificial turf than what I asked for (so more $ in his pocket...thinking I wouldn't notice), did not ask what kind of rock I wanted so ordered the cheapest. He didn't put any fill into the grass, nor did he power rake it after. The rock work was sub par and done very sloppy. Between the turf and the flowerbed there is a 1.5" gap where weeds will eventually grow. He did not nail down the artificial turf properly And the nails he used we’re all old and rusty. It’s definitely an amateur job. He is not professional at all in terms of communicating with his clients. He was great before he started his job but while doing it he wouldn't answer texts for days and then "resigned from the project". He wanted me to sign a contract that only protected himself....to make sure he gets paid no matter how your yard turned out. A lawyer in the family advised me not to sign it because it's a one sided contract.. If you would like to see photos, please do not hesitate to contact me.
