Bright Butterfly Child Care Centre

I have enrolled my daughter into 3 daycares and this by far is my favourite. Very sweet, caring and professional staff. Very clean! My toddler never wants to come home!

After a terrible experience with our last daycare we went knocking on doors looking for a change. The clouds parted and the sun shone down on us in the form of Alice, the owner of Bright Butterfly. She took us in for a tour and a chat without an appointment. My husband was very candid with her about our son’s struggles at his former daycare, including constantly being sent home for having accidents, no help with changes of clothes, being left out of fun freezie parties as punishment and more. We had been hesitant to uproot him from his friends and the only care facility he’d ever known. But it was the right choice. His classroom teacher Miss Karen is gentle, easy-going and kind. The teachers are wiling to work WITH parents and children. My son is allowed to bring special stuffies to school, he hasn’t had accidents and he certainly hasn’t been shamed and sent home. They send several pictures to parents each day of the activities they are up to which include outside time (in their private play area!), circle time, art, writing, dance parties and even French lessons with a guest teacher. Alice hires staff that share her values and gentle style, and the whole place feels like family. Our former daycare had good reviews on Google but after a closer look I realized most of them came from their own staff! ? Anyway, we couldn’t be more happy with the change we made. Our son is napping again with Bright Butterfly, which has also greatly improved his overall mood in the evenings. I could not possibly be more grateful for Alice and Karen and their loving approach. It’s made a tremendous difference for our little family. Highly recommend.

My boys started here in the summer of 2021 and we absolutely love it! Alice the owner is so kind and has worked so hard at making my boys feel comfortable and happy with the transition there. The teachers are all wonderful and make me feel confident leaving my boys there because they are always happy ! They use an app that updates you with pictures of what the kids are doing throughout the day which I love, and then shows you how they ate and napped etc at the end of the day. The centre has a private playground which is rare in Pitt Meadows, and the boys love it. They always have tons of fun and it’s really clean there so I feel so good leaving them!
