★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As is you need another place to launch a kayak - well, this is it ?. Easy access and parking for your vehicle - even large. Be aware of the current before launching

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrific place to sea kayak, especially with kids. Lots of great waterways to explore that are challenging but safe. You are bound to see and experience some sea creatures too; from jellyfish and starfish to sea otters and seals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short hike on Pender Island. Down and back. Goes to the water so you can have a look and pretty well marked. Easy and short. Mortimer Spit nearby is a great place to hang out as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's only a short trail but you'll find a bench to relax and a table for a picnic by the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little bridge which makes for some nice pictures. A short walking trail to the right of the bridge before you cross south. Don’t try and walk the bridge but safe to walk around and below. Go at low tide to get better pics.
