About Brianne Carter Holistic Wellness
My interest in holistic health and wellness was, literally, accidental. I had a concussion from playing soccer 6 years ago and my recovery was taking longer than “normal”. It wasn’t until I learned about the healing power of food and that I experienced noticeable improvements in my symptoms.
I was drawn to go back to school for Holistic Nutrition and it was there that I first discovered Reiki. The impact that energy work can have in promoting the body's return to its natural state of balance and harmony, has been truly inspiring.
After I graduated, my intention was to start my business and offer holistic nutrition and energy healing together.
However, life had other plans for me.. In November 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Treatment for the cancer was quite traumatic - physically, mentally and emotionally. Although, I was in the depths of my own healing, I felt called to take my Reiki Master training just days after treatment ended. And the healing I experienced in such a short time was nothing short of miraculous!
I knew from that moment on, that I am here to hold space for others, and support them in their healing journey!
