This place is amazing - the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. You can see the level of appreciation the owners have for their property. The shop has some neat and unique items for sale.

Great way to show perennial flowers in various gardens. We enjoyed our stroll even on a hot day.

Very informative owners who sell top quality gardening products. We purchased two resin urns for flowers along with some trees as we work at cleaning up our front yard. I like the free workshops they offer as there’s so much to learn.

Hopes and dreams of time spent with my family outdoors during a difficult time, not only because of the lockdowns due to covid, but because of stresses my family were facing, were destroyed. A beautiful day spent with my family suddenly turns black. My daughter and son in law had already paid for there season pass (using the debit machine) And my husband was trying to buy ours and tried over 4 times but the debit machine would not work. So to be polite he let the people behind us go ahead and try to pay for their item. Even my son in law tried to pay using his debit again and the machine would not work. While we were waiting for the other two customers to pay the children were getting restless because they were excited to go on the wallk through the gardens. When I went up to the counter to try my debit and pay he all of a sudden the owner (I'm assuming) at the counter roars at me " Are you the grandparent?" And proceeded to yell at me. He verbally attacked each of my grandchildren with accusations about minor things ( my grandughter allegedly threw rocks in to the pond, ( there were no rocks at least not big ones, it was tiny tiny gravelly stuff that she had "sprinkled" and the pond was covered in scum) my other grandson stood on a cart ( was told by his mother to get off of it) the other put his hand on an outdoor fountain and then my other grandson touched a bouncy ornament in the gift shop) 4 children with an accusation toward each, ( and literally that was all they had done) he was keeping track of everything they did and then said this is not an amusement park and threatened to revoke the passes my family had already paid for. I would have paid in cash had I known it was his debit machine that was the issue, but I didn't even have the chance. My husband came back in to see what was taking so long. I had just been verbally attacked. I looked at my husband and said we need to talk , before I could even have time to talk to my husband and family. The owner went up to Rob ( my son in law) and said give me back the passes for your family. And gave him his money back(at least). Yes my grandchildren had touched a few things, but they did not break, destroy or wreck anything. They were excited to go see the flowers. There is no sign that says no kids allowed . My one grandson has ADHD and has a hard time with not touching anything, but he was being very good and had not broken anything. He cried for a long time, because he had been yelled at by the owner and felt like it was all his fault for us not getting to spend the day there. All the children left upset and crying . I wish I had not talked my family into going there. What should have been a good experience turned out to be a nightmare.

Beautifully maintained, quiet, dog-friendly gardens. Just when you think you're at the end, the path winds through a different way revealing more treasures. I love that the trails end at the garden center so you can pick a few favourites to take home with you! I asked Brian if any of the gorgeous cana lilies next to the gift shop were for sale and he said he didn't have any right now, but could take my info and contact me when they're ready to split. Very impressed, well worth the $8 admission. Will definitely return later in the season to see a new assortment of blooms.

Very poor customer service and not child friendly. The people running it are very rude ignorant and disrespectful, if I could give negative stars I most definitely would. The ponds are absolutely filthy at the botanical gardens and most everything is over priced . I would definitely suggest looking around for other garden centers as there are many more and much friendlier garden centers in the area with much better prices and selection.

I went to Folmer Gardens hoping for a nice day with my family enjoying flowers on a nice walk. The minute my family was out of the car I felt unwelcome at this place. The owner watching our every move. Not allowed to go anywhere and no waiting area this place was very restricted and I felt confined. He seemed very uptight and this made my anxiety even worse. My husband bought the season passes because we wanted to walk through the gardens and the debit machine seemed to work fine for that. However, before starting our walk we needed to wait for my mother and father in law to pay, but for some reason the debit machine was now not working, my husband tried his card again to pay for our parents , but it wouldn't work. Over 30 minutes of trying to get the machine to work and my 5 children were restless, and the owner was basically a ticking time bomb just waiting for us to do something wrong so he could kick us out. He accused each of my children who were not confined to a stroller of some silly infraction, I want to make it very clear that my children did not damage, wreck or break anything in any way. After my oldest son with ADHD touched a bouncy Garden ornament in the giftshop he started yelling at my mother and my son. Had my son damaged the ornament I would have done the responsible thing and paid for it, plus I spoke to my son about keeping his hands to himself( which he struggles with due to ADHD) I want to point out that yelling can be just as bad and hurtful to children as hitting them and this man ( supposedly the owner)was not in anyway caring about children. We left and will not be recommending this place to anyone. My children all left crying and my mother was not able to sleep and felt sick for over 3 days due to the way we were treated and the stress from how this man verbally attacked us.

Quite an amazing place, quite an ambitious undertaking. It's not perfectly manicured, but the range of plant material is overwhelming, and not too large that you can't walk it all. There is also an interesting variety of plants for sale. Staff is courteous. A worthwhile and rewarding visit.
