About Breeze Photography
For most of the day I shoot documentary style, capturing moments as they unfold naturally, although I’m not shy about asking you to stand in some window light. I love to play with light and shadow and to show off the beauty of the landscape. During our portrait session there is more of an element of posing and I will direct & guide you through some prompts and poses. Almost all of my past clients had never been in front of a camera before either and they would be happy to tell you I get you comfortable pretty quickly. But my favourite shots are still always the candid ones as you fix your dress, or when your partner says something hilarious and you burst out laughing so I love to leave room for you to be yourselves and just enjoy the moment together. I edit in a moody but true-to-life style, always maintaining natural skin tones and depth! My editing style is part of the package deal and while it may vary ever so slightly depending on the conditions of the specific day, my consistent style is what you are hiring me for so please don’t ask if I can change it for you! What you see is what you can expect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say one bad thing about my experience with Bree. We hired her for our wedding in 2018 on Vancouver island. We hit it off automatically! At the time she was living in Calgary and still doing weddings on the island to keep up a clientele here. Does having an out of town photographer seem a bit insane? 10000% yes! But with that being said she was the most professional and on the ball vendor I hired. Her laid back easy going attitude was a joy. She kept our crazy wedding party in line no problem and her communication was top notch. Bree’s attention to detail and professionalism was impeccable. Her work is just amazing! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! Thanks again Bree!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I had my initial phone meet and greet with Bree, it went really well! She was so kind and it felt really easy to chat with her. She helped give me an idea of how traditional wedding timelines go and gave me a really good idea of what to expect. I basically planned my wedding around this!
As the wedding got closer, she was great with communication! She sent emails with questionnaires that had great details to help us both for the wedding day along with a few more so we could get the final timeline down. I feel she really went out of her way to be helpful.
Finally when our wedding day arrived she was absolutely on top of every email/conversation we previously had, incredibly personable and it really felt like a breeze. She was so good with names, made such an effort to get every request we talked about and caught some really cute moments with the kids. We really couldn't be happier, so many of our family members have spoken about how great she was!
When I opened the email with our sneak peak I actually cried! The photos came really fast and are more than anything we could have imagined! We are so thankful and hope everyone can experience this as well! Thank you Bree!
