★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a dark and stormy evening. Rain coming down like stair rods. Just in from a long day at work, I didn’t feel like cooking. Rest. Relax, and good food that was on my list.
This restaurant is located in The Bradshaw Lofts building on Downie.
I gingerly took myself downstairs to the basement where it is located. I was met by friendly knowledgeable staff.
They had what I needed ! A warm glass of mulled wine infused with maple syrup and spices. Armed with 3 day old newspapers, I found a cosy corner to curl up in. Papers to hide behind as I dined on my own.
The menu has the right combination of cheese and charcuterie.
Well chosen , local if possible. The important part in my experience was that the meal, mulled wine, atmosphere and staff were flawless. They took the winter chill out of my bones.
That means I’ll be back for more, perhaps tell some friends or book a function but the’ve got my vote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I love this place as they have the best Healthy Bowls in town. If you are looking for a Bowl Bar this is the place for you. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and very unique! Come for lunch. Come for coffee. Come for wine!

Great coffee and treats to start the day.
Never made it back for the wine bar at night but will next trip!!
