★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and I like to walk the trails when we visit different places. This one popped up when I searched for trails in Bracebridge, so wanted to try it. It's more of a outdoor sports trail (bikes, skis, etc), not so much enjoyment for walking. Minimal scenery, although we did get a small glimpse of the river at one point. There is a sign at the entrance stating we are now in bear country, and we did spot one on the trail.....mind you, it was small, pink, and fluffy, and I vaguely remember bringing it with us (SARCASM!!).?? Thankfully didnt spot any real bears, but most likely won't return again to walk.?♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to walk the dogs. Endless trails in a beautiful forest. Your dog will love you for it. Just make sure you stick to the snowshoe trails and keep them off the cross country ski trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well groomed cross country ski trails in a lovely tree filled public park. According to their map they also have other types of trails but I did not go looking for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem for people like me who were touring the area. This location has a moderate sized free parking, and there's no fees required to use this amazing patch of land.
In the winter, you can find people snowshoeing, hiking, and even cross country skiing. There are numerous tracks, some are exclusive for only snowshoeing use in order to protect the quality of other trails.
I estimate that one can easily spend half a day here and still have some tracks left unexplored.
Animals are allowed in some of these trails as well.
Keep an eye out for some humourous tracks and mannequins pretending to be bodies over at the Body Dump trail. Thank you, whoever decided to add that touch of humour and going the extra mile for the rest of us to enjoy!
Highly recommend place for people who are nature lovers or want a place to hike in the area.
