★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and quiet place. Nothing else to do besides the beach and swim. We did see a fox while visiting and there were ducks swimming. Nice place for a picnic away from people and peace and quiet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be fair, I think it’s difficult to rate any area of beach that sits on a lake in Muskoka, anything less than a 5. However contained even within her majesty, are varying degrees of good.
Bowyers view is fantastic, can’t argue that. It’s a little small in comparison to other public beaches in the area. The parking is ample, however located across the road in, which at the time I was there wasn’t busy, but I imagine it can be. The only other drawback is that the waterfront is not entirely beach, instead a large portion is raised and concrete and you need a ladder to get in and out of the lake. I was going to say 3 stars but my lengthy interaction with who I assume is a regular at the beach (see below), boosted it up a bit. Still beautiful

Sandy soft bottom beach. Theres a dock that the kids jump off of into the deeper parts as well as a sandy walk-in to play in the shallow area.
No seaweed, no rocks. Water was beautiful!
Wheelchair accessible - caution its a steep paved path down to the beach.
No supervision on duty- keep an eye on the kids it can get deep quick.
No dogs allowed.
No smoking.
On site washrooms were clean and stocked with product.
