Some parts of trail are a bit tricky to navigate. Be careful with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet. The creek was delightful and clean and the forest still original apart from the changes made by dirt bikers. There was some garbage around but there were also signs showing that volunteers work to maintain the area.
Google shows it to be off the North side of the road but the parking lot is on the south side. There’s also a VERY steep hill to negotiate to get down and back up.
The area could certainly benefit from some council investment.

While it is a nice, quiet place to go for a walk and it is really pretty, there was garbage and broken glass in different sections all throughout our walk. We ended up leaving sooner rather than later in fear he was going to slash a paw open.
I would love to go back with my dog, but it needs some thorough cleaning and people need to stop ruining nice things for everyone else by being inconsiderate slobs. So, until then, I'll likely only be returning by myself for a nice, quiet hike.
