★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot on the coast of Bowen Island. A little more crowded than other beaches on Bowen but that's not alot in overall context. Highly recommended beach for visiting the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wasn't too excited about the this beach. It's small and not very inviting. All the beaches on Bowen are rocky so it's important to have a beach with small rocks that are easier to walk on. Bowen Beach is full of big rocky patches making it difficult to enter. It was low tide so that likely made it worse. If you're on Bowen, go to Tunstall Bay. Better beach and a better place to watch the sun set.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tide was out and the water was actually warm enough to swim in. The beach is a mixture- not perfect sand - but nice enough. Lots of big logs to lean against and enjoy the late afternoon sun. They have a decent biffy up on the way to the parking lot.
