About Bowden Farm Fresh Chicken
We are a tight knit family full of pride and passion, and we believe that at the end of the day, we literally deliver some of the highest quality chickens and turkeys. Our business was built on relationships we share with our customers along with our ability to raise exceptional poultry. We strive to stay personable and won't hesitate to keep you happy!
We are proud to carry out such a widely recognized business established here in Bowden in 1982 by John and Diana Dyck. In 2007, Richard and Chrissy Dyck radically developed the business with the creation of our first ever website. Now 2021 sees our not so little farm coming off of one of our best years ever, and we have even started offering other products from a few top notch farmers who are just as passionate as we are. Thank you to everyone who has trusted us to put food on your table, and we look forward to keeping up the pace!
Never once offering antibiotics, hormones, growth steroids, preservatives, or animal by-products in the feed, Bowden Chicken still produces some of the finest all naturally raised chickens and turkeys in central/southern Alberta.
All of this is because of our wonderful, loyal customers who have strode with us throughout the years, helping us to become what we are today. With that said, from everyone on the Bowden Chicken farm, we thank you all!

We also love that it is all free from antibiotics and that it is a family run business. They are wonderful to deal with and always happy and friendly!

And from my vegetarian perspective the way Bowden operates their farm is far more ethical than any other source of Chicken. I feel that it is important to support producers like Bowden Chicken , local and humane. Service has been great and they deliver right to my door. Thanks Bowden for being there.

Have tried other products and have never been disappointed with the quality, so much better than anything you can purchase in a supermarket. Love being able to support a local vendor who's heart is obviously in their business. P.S. my dog also loves their dog food, and she's a bit of a fussbudget. You should shop here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a package of chicken products, including a whole chicken for Christmas, and was able to pick them up right before Christmas during the Calgary turkey pickup. I got a quick response when I enquired about this pickup and the pickup process was very quick and efficient. I was also able to buy some fresh eggs which had been sold out when I placed the order online. The chicken was amazing and I also really enjoyed the roasted garlic and pepper chicken sausages. I will definitely order from Bowden Farm Fresh Chickens again!
