About Bow Island Dental Centre
Dr. Jackie Pitstra joined Bow Island Dental Centre in 2001. Born and raised in Calgary, she attended the University of Calgary receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree. Then in 1994, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Alberta. For 6 years, Dr. Pitstra went on to practice dentistry in Saskatoon before moving to the Bow Island area. She holds a membership in the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association, and the Calgary & District Dental Society.
Dr. Pitstra is married and has two sons. She enjoys volunteering at her church and the Coaldale District Chamber of Commerce. An enthusiastic cyclist, you can find Dr. Pitstra cycling in the summer months on the highway between Coaldale and Bow Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In June 2021 I saw Dr. P, she was absolutely fantastic, I had anxiety issues and after a couple of appointments and quite a bit of dental repairs I am happy to say I am no longer in pain and my dentist anxiety is gone. Thank you so much to Dr.P and the staff at bow island dental.
