About Boomerang 360

Boomerang 360 is an independent design studio based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Canada.

After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2004 with a BFA, Honours degree and major in Graphic Design, Boomerang 360 was launched. As a Freelance Graphic Designer I was finding it difficult to have complete creative freedom when designing for clients. My clothing and accessory line became my creative outlet.

โ€‹

My ideas are a mix from everyday images, inspired by the Prairies, nature, travel and urban cycling. From pillows to patches, to your favourite T-shirt, there's something for everyone.

All designs are original Boomerang 360 designs and each item is made with the environment in mind.

Product is carefully sourced and wherever possible locally made. Each piece is screen printed with

eco-friendly water based inks and heat set for long term durability.

โ€‹

The brick-and-mortar shop is located in the heart of Downtown Winnipeg, where you can find

the full Boomerang 360 line along with a thoughtfully curated mix of local product.

I just discovered this great little shop for the first time. Tons of unique and local products. The girl working there was really kind and friendly. I will be back!

This is such a great little shop, filled with all kinds of amazing locally made products. The owner is so kind and my son loves his Boomerang 360 bike shirt that we bought for him.

Really, unfortunate, that I only saw your comments about my defected bracelet now. Your business was called twice. First time, a vm was left. No response. Second time a female associate answers and informs that you were not available. Left my name, number, and reason for call,l. Again, no response. Calling a third time, I felt really would have done nothing, since the first call already yielded a vm, a very valid, reasonable and professional way of leaving communique. Ignored. And two, a direct message for the manager and owner was left, with whom I expected was a trusted and competent associate, again ignored. A response from the business FINALLY came, alas, two months later. That's kinda something, I supposed. I do not contest that defective products or one-offs makes it out onto the floor. But the response to mine seemed more like an afterthought than a means to resolve or rectify the issue. Now let me ask you, and let us be honest with each other. As a consumer to another consumer: would you really go back to a business that provide you that type of customer service? I'm quite certain you wouldnt. It's very, very unfortunate. I have no doubt you support the local arts, it is most likely one of the founding principles in which you used to make the decision and build your business. I do as well. I like supporting local artists, and creators, and that's why I chose to spend over 300 at your store ... rather than making a left to City Place or some other larger retail entity and spend my money (and spend less). A recommendation for the future. Moving forward, make an attempt to reach out to the patron that experienced a negative time at your shop and try to make things right. Should they refuse your attempt; at least you can have the piece of mind that you tried. Rather than leaving a comment, online; two months late, offering things like store credits and exchanges that are well past their due (as per your store policy)-- and the expectation that a customer would keep a defective product that failed to impress or fulfill its purpose; in the hopes that his two attempts to connect with the business would be acknowledge, but instead dismissed; until two months later Regards, Rome *Edit 03/16/2020: I'm going to stop you right there and speak on behalf of all hard-working 1-person employee business owners. What you wrote to me you need to review and self-reflect on. It's a very poor excuse and quite a liability in the world of business (new or seasoned). So, it's not your fault you weren't ready? Then who's responsibility was it to get you ready? The imaginary person who answered your phone? You starting to follow me? Also, you seem to be very confused, as when I was there shopping, someone came out from the back of your store and started assisting me with the necklaces. Who was that? Just a random stranger performing an act of kindness? In front of you? Listen, in all my years as a teacher, lecturer and a solo owner of my own private practice; I have never read such nonsense from a business owner. It's fortunate that you work for yourself, because if you worked for someone, and this is the response you provide clients, they'd cancel your employ immediately. Save yourself from responding. Minimize the screen, walk away and get some training in client-centered practices.

Such a unique little shop! I've stopped in several times to find special gifts for my loved ones and have always been so pleased with the products. Great locally made items that you wouldn't find at a box store. Service is always so friendly and helpful!!

Bought a leather bracelet here a few months ago. A couple months later, the leather literally stiffened up and broke in four different spots. Iโ€™m not a novice leather owner; I own a lot of genuine leather, and nothing I did soften it up, mended it or brought it back to its original state. For the price that I paid, I expected something betterโ€” definitely better quality and Iโ€™m very disappointed with my purchase. Will not recommend and will not refer.
