I did a 6 month course between negginan college and red river graduated and went on to work at boeing , problem is boeing Has racism inside their shop floor. The shop floor managers have the final say in who passes probation and who does not. I was always half an hour early , never missed a day and always completed all of my daily tasks. Most of the management on evening shift is filipins, my whole crew was filipino , i always got along with my colleagues inside and outside of work,except the manager.I was fired for what the management called negligence of duty for not having any extra work to do at the end of a day when their were no parts in stock, rumor was that the manager fired me for things unrelated outside of work. I applied for the union at boeing to get me a an appeal, i was advised against using the racism card ,so i did not. I fought and should have won ,they sent me a reply basically stating i was wrongfully terminated but because of the termination clause i could not even be hired back. In short the manager guilbert medel who fired me had even posted racist posts to his facebook account which i will post here. I had the daytime lead hand say i got a locker at the front due to “White Privilege” which i am metis and came in through an aboriginal program. Boeing brags about its diversity but what is diverse about labelling and discrimination in the workplace. I have not yet filed a report with Human Resources but i am going to. I loved my job , i was getting better everyday and enjoying every minute of the work. Its sad that after wasting 6 months of my life in school losing my first born and still having to push through and not miss time i was fired due to racism.

Has competitive compensation packages for union and non union employees, but could be better. Recent plant expansion. However workforce employment can vary due to airline order backlog.... Leadership with Union and Management is..... Up for debate
