I switched all my banking to BMO recently and the staff at this location made it super easy. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and super friendly. I used to dread having to go into the bank but this BMO location makes it a lot less painful.

Went all the way downtown as the website said they were open, they were not open!!!!!! If you are going to close, it would be nice to update your website!

Why can't BMO have a working ATM!! Constantly not in service on Victoria Avenue! Just close it already if it can't be kept up ?

This bank is the most unreliable bank in town.... the people in there have no clue what they are doing while the manager sits on her computer in her office. Everytime i go in to do bank something goes wrong... i dont recommend anyone get an account here.

Poorly run establishment. No one answer the phone EVER, if you want to speak to someone you have to drive there. I mentioned the phones not being answered, looked around, i was the ONLY customer, the attendant even giggled about my comment and apologized, like its funny. Theyre not busy and what kind of company doesnt answer phones? Left multiple voicemails, no call back. To top it off this bank is located in a very bad part of town, i cant imagine being a senior with mobility issues not being able to get ahold of their bank because they physically cannot do it and this bank REFUSES to answer phone calls. You all should be ashamed.

I had a checking and a credit card with BMO, which was holding 500 from me. I couldn’t use the 500, and spend 4-5 travels to branches, many phone calls, including one 3 hours and 32 minutes, in order to ask them to release 500, and close the account. The result is, they creates a lot of difficulty for me to close the account, and they held the 500 and keep deducting 10.95 monthly fee every month I couldn’t use the account. I couldn’t close it. And couldn’t use the money, I had to pay the monthly fee every month. It’s like robber. And I had to make so many phone calls, to the branches and the credit card I had to travel so many times, to close the account to get some of of my money back, not all. I had 320 left from the 500, which they were holding and deducting but I couldn’t use or get back. Almost 4 hours’ phone call, and didn’t work at all. I literally took a picture of that call. I was so angry.

I don't feel safe at any of the locations at the current time, the BMO ATM at Victoria avenue is now a shelter, the machine is out of service, I was going to deposit cheques downtown, again, people sleeping, loitering around the kiosk. If I cannot feel safe going to my bank. It's time to switch banks. BMO is doing nothing to ensure the safety of their clients. Never have I seen an institution so uncommitted to the safety of their clients. Sad. Sad. Sad. State of affairs. I mean, how long has the Victoria avenue location been missing the security lock on the front. This is a mortgage year for me and I highly doubt I will be renewing with DMO (Dump of Montreal) I will also be moving my accounts, likely to Scotiabank. As their mall location is much more convenient for me, and I don't have to deal with various assorted folks. Or feel intimidated trying to do banking. If I could 0 star, I would. What a disgrace. Edit. The response posted is hilarious and can't be taken serious.
