Have been coming to Blyth for over 30 years. Team on the Hill was the worst play I have ever attended there. A big surprise considering Dan Needles is the playwright. Could not even wait until intermission to leave. It was just poorly done. They couldn't even get the makeup right. (Young son's stick on sideburns did not meet his hair, leaving a white gap above them. Such was the level of effort expended on this production.) We will go back to Blyth, as we have seen many fine performances there. This just wasn't one of them.

Very modern venue with great amenities that include concessions serving good quality food and beverages. Staff are friendly and professional. Be aware that the seats are tiny, apparently manufactured for kindergarten assembly rooms, and barely able to SQUEEZE an average sized adult into each seat.

Just saw "The New Canadian Curling Club " A great show, covered Canadianism very well, winter, curling, multicultural communities, and let's not forget Tim Hortons. Top notch writing & acting. If this show comes to your local theatre go see it. Thank you Blyth Festival.

Blyth Festival is fantastic. The shows and music are a nice way to enjoy a night out. The seats are very comfortable and the staff is so friendly. I suggest everyone should visit. It is a great place to take friends or family for a night out.

Very comfortable local theatre. Supports Canadian authors and Canadian content. The volunteers are very helpful. Snacks and drinks available for purchase before show and at intermission. I recommend sitting at least a couple rows back due to the height of the stage. Blyth is a beautiful town for a walk before or after the show.

Went to Scrooge. None of us in our group of 13 was expecting a musical. It was hands down the best live performance I have ever seen. The talent of the actors was amazing. The story line was incredible. Whoever changed the original version to the farming version was creative and thoughtful. This version was set in Huron County and was written in such a way that it had everyone hearing a phrase or location they were familiar with. The Theatre is small and cozy, but that adds to the appeal. There are no bad seats and everyone is close enough to the stage. Refreshments were served with money going to charity. What an incredible experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. The only downside to this location was the parking. There is only street parking and if you arrive later, you are a couple of blocks away.

Overall worst experience booking a play here, We rented an air bnb and everything for the play only for it to be cancelled an hour before, It did not even rain the night of the show. When I asked for a refund it was an issue trying to get a full refund and they even asked for a donation for wrecking my weekend. Worst theatre I have (almost) attended. When charging so much for tickets they should be sure to have a back up plan or to put the play on and if it ACTUALLY rains then cancel the show. The show should not be cancelled until there is actual rain and thunder coming from the sky. Do yourself a favour and not waste your time with this theatre/town. See a play at a different and more respectable theatre that is actually considerate of their patrons time and money.

My family enjoyed the performance at the outdoor theatre. Great job finding a way to bring theatre back in Covid times. It was such a great experience that my family purchased tickets for the next performance. They accommodated for mobility concern. Inclusivity is an important consideration on all of our adventures. Buy your tickets today. You will love it.
