My wife and I have lived here for just less than 20 years .This park is one of the best that we have been in .Many choices for activities .So many great people to spend time with .We have a camper and have traveled to many parks on either side of boarder to stay at, but we are lifers in here at Blue water Country in Sarnia .

This is a great place. They have planned on site dance nights, pool, exercise room, craft and bake sales. The park is safe and folks that live there have always been friendly to me when I visit my family member.

PRO's: Lots of activities run by & attended by active residents. EG's: Tennis, shuffleboard, bocce ball, carpet bowling, pool, cards, darts etc.. Excellent large community center with a large indoor pool & other activity rooms & a large main hall for dinner/ dances, meetings etc. Well maintained homes & home values have doubled in this park in the past 4 years. Friendly residents aged 50+. Within Sarnia city limits with city water, sewers, natural gas & hospital plus shopping, restaurants etc. CONS: Constant turnover of park managers & other employees usually with a poor 'hand-off' transition to the newest manager-- (**8 managers in our 10 years living here AND as of Jan. to March 15 2022 we've had no full-time manager or assistant manager ---again. We've had a part-time Mang. since Jan.-22 for our park of 430 homes & 750 residents!). * This seems to be a Parkbridge problem as 3 of my siblings live in other Parkbridge owned parks in Ont. & they've also had constant manager turn-overs. Parkbridge is a large company that owns 115 'retirement' & 'seasonal' parks & thus it has many management levels & divisions within the company. ** As of March 2022 Parkbridge's website has ads for 11 Regional Managers & Park Managers & several 'Senior' managers thus the constant turnover continues at this company. This is very frustrating for park residents re: poor consistency & poor communication. Also, despite our park having 430 homes & approx. 750 residents our previous park Manager's & Assistant Mang's were assigned 3 other parks that are 50 to 100 Km away. Therefore too often we get an answering machine if we phone our office & calls can take over a day for replies which is unacceptable.
