They are very friendly and love our dogs. I would definitely recommend Blue Ribbon Kennels.

Honestly the lady seemed really nice but that's where my positive experience ends. Upon entering the building (which is basically a large garage behind the house) you walk through a grubby grooming area. I was ok with that because grooming can be messy but my dog then didn't even want to go through the next door to where the kennels were. That room even scared me a little. The makeshift pens were maybe 3ft wide, had plywood walls and concrete floors with a wooden platform im assuming was for sleeping. Keep in mind this platform had no bedding of any kind nor was there anything but a water bowl in the cell. The lady didn't take much time to greet my dog and just closed the plexiglass door on his cell. There was one dog next to him and didn't see any others but had heard many dogs barking so dont know where they were.He was crying as I walked away. I decided I couldn't leave him there and went back shortly after to get him and I've never seen my dog more stressed. He ran out of the cell as soon as she opened the door and was crying when he saw me then ran out of the building. He was at the car before I even crossed the yard. Then the whole drive home he was panting from stress and whining. Now here i do want to say I have left him in daycare and kennels before so this wasn't him just missing me. I know this place has been around for awhile and is probably a great fit for some more rugged dogs. She did have one dog that came each week just to play she said. But what I saw of the play area wasn't very large at all. I was lucky I was able to go get him but wanted to share my experience so someone isn't forced to leave their dog there if he/she is a bit more sensitive and used to more comfort and attention.
