Here you can always find a quiet place to go fishing. Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Perch tend to be the most sought after, but there are also Muskie, Crappie, Panfish, Catfish, Rainbow Trout, Salmon, and more.
We are the only resort on the lower Spanish River, which offers some of the best fishing in Ontario. We have a quiet, secluded setting even though we are just one mile off of highway 17.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If we could give more than a 5 star rating, we would!!!! Our visit to Blue Heron was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. You are treated better than Royalty, you are treated like family!!!! The owners go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them is superb. We enjoyed a three bedroom cabin with all of the comforts of home. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer as we had a schedule to keep on our way home. Thank you Blue Heron for all you did to make us feel right at home....God Bless.

The owners take great pride in what they have accomplished and so they should! This is the great white north at its finest. Huge fishing available as well as family oriented. Very reasonably priced. I can't say enough! 5 stars plus!!
