★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hike off the end of the official Black Prince trail. Beyond the lower boulder field with the seasonal pond that the main trail ends its loop at this trail becomes quite a bit steeper, and ascends an unrelenting and steep grassy slope. There’s an interesting little cave easily accessed just off trail, and the upper Warspite meadows are really nice too.
