She accepted the challenge graciously and made me feel very comfortable throughout my time on her chair. She's very professional and knows what she's doing. Certainly coming back and already booked my next appointment. Already looking forward to it!

Anastasia listened, understood the look I was going for, checked in regularly through the cut, was focused and paid attention to detail to ensure my cut was perfect. She gave me tips for upkeep and what’s next as my hair grows and I’m looking forward to coming back here for all future cuts. Finally found a stylist I want to return to! The salon itself has a great ambiance and were very accommodating for booking my appointment.

Her attention to detail and quality of work while cutting and coloring my hair is outstanding. I always enjoy my visits, especially with the warm and friendly atmosphere of the studio!

She really values the integrity of my hair and she really takes the time to understand what my issues with my hair is. Plus, her chat is the best. She always has some wild stories!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down Melissa is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. She’s super attentive and knowledgeable about lightening / bleaching hair. Most hairstylist I’ve seen in the past only cared about $$ but Melissa cared about my hair!!!! She was super honest and upfront telling me the ideal hair I want would take time/ process without damaging my hair ? Which is why I am willing to come all the way from Vancouver to just see her?

She understood exactly what I wanted done on my natural curly hair after only a short conversation and the results are absolutely perfect. From start to finish I had an amazing experience and I definitely will be making Black orchid my regular hair salon.
