★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lo after waiting 45 mins finally got my Monte Cristo and fries (only 6 other people in the diner).
Old fries that had clearly been refried to bring up to temperature and the sliced turkey was nothing more than large chunks of cold thigh meat.
Never again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big fan of all of the staff at the diner as well as the Gas n Go. Super friendly and helpful. Pricing at the diner could be a bit better but food quality is great. I'd rather drive to Courtenay or Campbell River for a meal based on the cost, but if you're in the area it's a great place to dine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the Steak and Prawns there on July 4th. Just the right size portion and Medium Rare was just that. came with some nice root veggies, Cesar Salad and some home made flat bread. The location has been troubled in the past with owners who lacked a vision and decent menu. This is NOT the case now. Great food, service and prices in line with the quality they serve. A nice change to have a local eatery with high standards. Stephen.
