★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is not in the best of location but once you go inside you get the warm feeling of a truly family restaurant. The inside is cozy and very clean. The owners are amazing people. Very friendly. Iftar buffet are usually a chaos in most restaurants but I was amazed how well they manage to look after everyone. The food is definitely unique for Halal eaters. I don't know of any other restaurant who serves these cuisine in Halal. The food really tasted homemade. Not at all to salty or greasy line normal restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best joints in town. Beef brisket is ridiculously tasty. We had the buffet during the weekend and nothing disappointed. The chef/owner is world class. All staff are truly wonderful. Very family friendly. Heartwarming decor and design. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent unknown pizzeria and cafe spot on 17th! Very polite and excellent service from the man I assume to be the owner, who recommended us the best pizzas to try. Would definitely recommend. The restaurant was clean, had a nice atmosphere and facilities clean. Will definitely be coming back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guys, if you haven’t been to Bisto Pizza&Cafe on 17th SE Calgary you really missing out. One of its kind restaurant. Don’t let the name fool you as it did to me, this is NOT a pizza place only.
You can order from menu and/or buffet. The food is soooo delicious from North Africa, so it a mixed mild and non spicy food. I have never been to a buffet where I liked everything and I’m a very picky eater, this place is hands down ?.
If you don’t feel like eating .. no worries go there for an authentic Italian espresso and some home made ?.
This an amazing place if you just wanna hangout with friends and family without breaking your bank account.
PS.
I spoke the owner and he is planning to have speciality nights such as Seafood night .. etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely Pizzeria + Cafe! Definitely a hidden gem. The decor and classical + arabic music that is played maximises your experience with the well prepared and cooked halal food! The prices are decent and the staff is very kind and helpful. Beautiful place to have a meal with family or to have a cozy drink while reading. It's a very underrated and beautiful cafe. I 100% recommend if you're passing by 17th Ave!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family run pizzeria that not many people know of. They offer halal foods. Their customer service is excellent and on point. We tried the surf and turf, and it was really good. Their hummus and some other salad options were really good too.
Highly recommended and would be definitely going back to try their food again.
