Bisson Expert

Bisson work was excellent; they fully implemented all the steps in their contract. They explained all the steps and allowed pictures and videos to be taken. They did replant what I asked them to do. In short, they are reliable, and can be trusted.

Very unprofessional company. I filled up the online form to get a quote, their expert came to my place and we talked about the solution he offered. He told me in a week, he is gonna send me the price. One month passed no news. I called him several time no news. I called the company directly, no answer. They completely ghosted me. Very disappointed! I can't imagine how their guarantee works. They haven't done anything and they act so unprofessional.

To be fair, Bisson Expert lifted and stabilized my home as promised. The foreman (Richard) was very competent and respectful throughout. Unfortunately, in the final backfill stage, their excavator, Mini Excavation Yalam Inc., neglected to protect my natural limestone walkway. The markings made by the teeth of the digging bucket are forever permanent. A few strips of plywood, or simply putting the backfill stone on either side of the walkway, would have avoided the permanent damage done to the limestone. They have washed their hands of any responsibility for the damages. The estimated cost to replace and install my walkway is $7500. Obviously this is very upsetting as it could have been so easily avoided... UPDATE: BISSON HAS ASSUMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGES DONE AND ARE WORKING TO HAVE THE SITUATION CORRECTED. ONCE THIS IS COMPLETE, I WOULD CERTAINLY CHANGE MY "RATING" TO ***** (FIVE STARS) AS THEY WILL HAVE STOOD BEHIND THEIR WORK AND REACTED IN AN HONOURABLE FASHION TO AN UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCE. Update #2 Bisson did indeed arrange to repair the unfortunate damages caused... So, although it took some time to sort things out, they proved to be a very honourable and professional company that I would use and recommend in the future. Thank you to Richard and his team!

I met with over 10 companies before selecting a contractor for the work that needed to be done at my mother-in-laws. Not one of them came close to the professionalism, knowledge and know-how that Bisson Expert has. Andrew and Robert were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to do demolition, foundation or repair work.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend Bisson Expert. The business refused to take responsibility for extensive damage they caused to our terra cotta tiles during work completed at the end of October 2019. It appears this may be a common problem judging by another review (see Craig Starke). We wish we could write a glowing review here. Honestly the work-crew and pre-sales staff were excellent. They gained our trust and we liked them very much. To be clear, we understand that mistakes are made. Had Bisson Expert acted appropriately by addressing the issue, we would have forgotten the matter entirely, and given the workers the review they deserve for the job. Instead, Bisson Expert dragged their feet, and only after *months* was the 'appropriate' person sent to evaluate the damage. (The presales guy had originally assessed the damage, but apparently he was not sufficiently senior to make any kind of decision; nor it seems was he able to expedite the appropriate process) So the Sale Director came. At this point (March!) we we were left with the suggestion that we were somehow trying to pull a fast one and have them pay for preexisting damage. And this was only the beginning as the experience turned very sour. And then the pandemic shut everything down, and we contacted Bisson asking please to send us their final invoice. Previously we had agreed that we would pay the final tranche of about $4K after the issue with the damage was resolved. We were again advised to wait -- this time until their office re-opened. So we did until two days ago when we received a letter from their lawyer's demanding payment. We never properly resolved the damage issue, and we never received the final invoice which we requested. There was no reason for this to become messy. Bisson Expert has treated us poorly and with a lack of respect, and we are currently minded to pursue he matter through small claims. (Attached are a few indicative samples of the damage they left on the tiles. The damaged covered something like 100sq ft.) Other details: They sealed a foundation, and repaired some structural issues. The total job cost about $25K.

I contacted Bisson Expert in the summer of 2020 via their site, after a couple of months of waiting I called them and they assured me there was a ticket assign to my project and that someone would visit me soon. Another month later I called again and finally they send someone. The guy had no idea what work I needed done (even when I had send them all the info on the form , a video and pictures). He didn't had my email and ask me to send him my certicate of localization, which I did that same day. He told me that by the weekend he would send me an estimate. But needless to say he never did! I call him (left multiple messages) and email him and nothing! Finally I contacted another company that within two weeks visited me and send me a submission. At the end my project was about 40k and Bisson Expert didn't care about it and just made me loose about 8 months! I do not recommend them

**Edit** After writing this review, Bisson did contact me and fix the crack. Thank you for your help. STAY AWAY!!!! I repaired a leaking crack with Bisson Expert about 6 years ago. It started leaking again about 3 weeks ago. It is under warranty. It is leaking into a finished apartment. I still don't know when they will even look at it because they will not call me back. STAY AWAY!!!

This company did a great job,their employees were very professional. I was so pleased with these young men,they were respectful and a pleasure to work with. Any queries were responded to quickly. Highly recommend this company.
