This was my first time coming here to get a gel fill and overall the salon is very well kept! There had been some confusion with the booking, but the gentleman at the front desk (manager?) handled the situation very well. We ended up waiting 30mins+ before we had our nails done, but as this is a new salon I understand the mix up. The customer service from the store manager (at least I assume he was the manager) was absolutely amazing; asking everyone if they needed water or anything else, and apologizing for the wait numerous times. My fill was a pretty average gel fill. The kind lady who did my nails didn't speak much English, but understood exactly what I wanted. The gel application was a little rushed and messy but the end result was very smooth and well done. The underside of my nails was also left a little rough and could have been cleaned up a tad better. Overall I would definitely recommend this salon for the customer service alone, but the nails also stand out among some other salons in St.Albert.

This location does not deserve the 2 stars I am rating it, but I have two positives about this place. First being the salon itself, it is very clean and put together nicely. Very welcoming. Second, the gentleman (whom I think owns this location). He was VERY polite and friendly, compared to his nail technicians. I would have no issues coming back here, if the technicians paid more attention to their customers. My sister and I made an appointment for 1pm, and were not taken in until almost 1:30pm... I left with SORE, bleeding nail beds after my appointment. I have NEVER been cut this many times, and I have been getting my nails done for 4 years. I kept pulling my hands away because Mia was more concerned about everything else going on. She was using the nail drill to file down the gel, and kept looking around and everywhere but my nail AS SHE WAS FILING WITH AN ELECTRIC NAIL DRILL. She worked WAY too fast, and didn't seem to mind when she continually cut my thumb in the same spot. She was working so fast, the drill slipped off my nail and rolled around my finger a couple of times. Not one apology... It was almost as if she had better places to be. My thumb was still bleeding when I left the salon... The overall turn out of my nails were exceptional. I have had very few sets of nails turn out this good. All EXACTLY the same size and shape, and the colors I chose were very nice. Great quality nails. I just can't get past the lack of customer service from the nail technicians, how SORE my nail beds were and how many times I was cut in one session. Super disappointing. Train your technicians to take their time and focus on NOT cutting the customer.

Went her with my niece the lady was very gentle with her but my lady (Mia) was terrible. She cut me close to 15 times to the point she had to wipe the blood away. The skin around my nails is torn apart after leaving here. And she put glue underneath my natural nail and all over my skin.

I have had several pedicures done here by Tina. She has hands of steel and gives the best pedicure massages. I highly recommend the Herbal Pedicure, $55 without polish,$70 with polish. This is an amazing deal for the service you will receive. Make sure you have extra for a tip because Tina earns every penny!! This nail shop is similar to other Bihns or Qnails in the fact that even if you book an appointment you need to understand that you may not get in right at that time. Sometimes you will wait a bit and that’s just how it goes, for what you are paying you need to be patient as they take walk ins. Try and ask for a less busy time.

I had a full set done with Mia today and it was absolutely perfect! I cannot believe this girl got a few bad reviews in the past and it shows me how entitled some women can be! She’s so careful and such a perfectionist. She listened to my expectations and exceeded them. I’ve had pedicure done with Tina before and she was also amazing, going above and beyond with complimentary massages. I’m happy and I recommend this place to all my friends! Don’t even check these poor reviews as people are so quick to jump and try to hurt a business.
