β β β β β I found Dr. Larry Lu by chance (thankfully). My front tooth cracked and I needed it fixed that morning. Not only was Dr. Lu able to fix my front tooth, he was able to make me feel comfortable enough to discuss fixing all of the neglected dental work I really needed. I had gone years with a terrible smile and feeling uncomfortable smiling around new people.
Dr. Larry Lu has always been supportive, even when I thought I couldn't handle the embarrassment, and I do feel he genuinely cares about making his patients smile look their best.
He has staffed his office with the very best. They all are great and Nancy, who runs the front office, has held my hand through every insurance question and given me advice about what I could afford to do next. I've never had problems reaching anyone at the office or setting appointments to fit into my schedule.
I am not an easy patient, I'm sure Dr. Lu would agree, but he has earned my trust and my business. I still have some more dental work to get done and I really couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I would definitely recommend him without a second thought.

β β β β β Giving credit where credit is due. I moved from Burnaby to near Langley about three years ago. I was shopping around the area for dental practices online. Somehow, I bumped into Dr. Larry Luβs amazing reviews and soon made appointments as I haven't got a check up for a long time. I became a regular patient since then. I have to say all the positive reviews about this dental office are true and I have been recommending my friends and family to the practice. The assistants are very helpful and friendly. The office manager, Nancy, is extremely accommodating and approachable. She deals with the insurance for me professionally and efficiently that I did not have to pay on my own at first (my last dental office didn't do that, I had to pay at first and claim later). Dr. Lu is the ONLY dentist at this small dental clinic. He is very caring and quite knowledgeable about dentistry. He may have some foreign accent when speaks but always takes time to explain thoroughly what needs to be done. As he always says, he wants to make sure everyone is on the same page. He is also very gentle when working in mouth. Another thing I like about Dr. Lu is he always treats his staff with respect and always says thanks to his staff. All in all, what an awesome dentist and a wonderful group of professionals!

β β β β β Wow, my experience with Dr. Larry Lu and BigSmiles Dental Care has been great! Short wait time and very efficient front desk staff. There is never an issue with my insurance as they always check the procedures beforehand and they bill insurance directly. Dr. Lu is very professional and knowledgeable in all types of dentistry. He is also easy to talk to and always takes time to explain a few little issues I have and always offers affordable treatment options. Overall, Dr. Lu and his team work with you on every aspect. Highly recommend!

β β β β β I have been going to Dr. Lu's BigSmiles dental office in Surrey for quite some time. I am extremely happy with the care and service I receive each time I visit. Dr. Lu is really professional and pleasant. He always explains to me what he is doing or working on (no matter how small the procedure is). I feel very comfortable with him. The staff there are always friendly and supportive. The clinic environment is quite causal but that is what makes me calm in this dental office, to know that these are real people and you can have a conversation with them. I also really appreciate the extended hours that the office provides. For routine procedures, I can get an appointment after work or on the weekend so I don't have to miss work. I have referred many friends to this dental office and they are all happy with the service they receive. In noticing that Dr. Larry Lu has received so many excellent reviews -- that should tell you how much Dr. Lu and his team strive to provide valued care and top quality service to their clients!

β β β β β Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Larry Lu for all of our dental care for a few years now. Not only is Dr. Lu personable, professional and truly excellent at what he does, but his team also is nothing shy of amazing! Nancy, who takes care of EVERYTHING on the front end (billing, scheduling, checking benefit, etc.) is absolute delight -- she is sweet, kind, patient and has HEART -- she gives the warmest welcome! I have had a few cavities filled, many cleanings (performed by the dentist himself) and I can honestly say that I don't mind going to this dental clinic because it's always been positive experience when I go. Dr. Lu is genuine, caring, thoroughly professional and incredibly patient -- he always takes the time to ask how you are doing -- and explain things in a way that is understandable. I have truly never been to a dentist THIS GOOD -- truly. Pain-free, relaxing, very friendly, comfortable environment...etc. Highly recommended!

β β β β β Dr. Larry Lu is an amazing dentist who is always very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains all procedures prior to starting any procedure. Not only is he extremely personable and gentle, he is also professional and honest at the same time. I've never heard him suggesting unnecessary dental work to benefit his pocketbook. Dr. Lu may have slight accent speaking English but I never have trouble understand him. He genuinely cares about his patients and has taken care of my family for a number of years. The clinic is not big but very clean and professional looking. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, especially efficiently handle all our dental insurance claims without any issues. If you are looking for a fantastic dentist, call this office!
