★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the Self-Erecting Tower Crane Program at the Bigfoot Crane Academy, was given great theoretical instruction including rigging, then had days of practice using the crane, including the important pre-shift inspection. The course included the Fulford Certification exam. Crane Operators are in demand, only a week later, I was already working at a construction site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what they teach at their "crane academy", but it certainly isn't how to operate a manlift. Half the time the operator is talking on their phone, never acknowledges floor calls, and doesn't adhere to Covid restrictions on the amount of people allowed inside the lift.
