About Big Canon Lake Lodge
Big Canon Lake Lodge in Northern Ontario is located in a remote area of northwestern Ontario, 25 miles northwest of Vermilion Bay, accessible only by float plane. Over 75 miles of shoreline surround this deep, crystal clear, spring fed fisherman’s paradise. Ranging from three to four miles wide and about eight miles long, this lake has an area of 8.8 square miles or about 5,600 acres. We offer an outstanding variety of fishing that includes Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Muskie, and Northern Pike. When staying at our Ontario Fly In Fishing Lodge, we fish our main lake, the adjacent river system and five portage lakes.

We may be a wilderness lodge, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy when we pamper you a little. Bring your appetite as we’ll make sure you are well fed during your stay. When you’ve finished your day of adventure, retreat back to your private cabin that has all the comforts of home.When you arrive at you cabin, enjoy the luxuries of a full bathroom, hot and cold running water, 24 hour electricity, a heavy duty wood burning stove, well equipped kitchens and comfortable twin beds. Linens and towels are provided along with daily maid service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sam runs a great resort! Staff were very accommodating. Meigan made wonderful food. Sam/Brett/Drake worked hard to put us on the fish and it payed off with a great fishing experience. Would recommend.
