The park is right next to a raging River and there is a train trestle above the camp. We stayed down the dirt road on the side of the camp for free. Other than that the camp is really nice with hardly any people in it

Very beautiful area but the train tracks are crazy loud. We had multiple trains go through every night. Not exactly the relaxing in nature I had hoped for.

Firewood in abundance, sounds of the river right in our campsite. Clean facilities and lots of local trails.

We had a spot booked, however after two days of rain the campground was a nearly deserted muddy mess. If fact when we arrived there was only one other camper there and strangely enough was parked in the spot we had reserved. In the end we decided to skip and spend the day in Edmonton and the night at a truck stop.

Such a pretty campground has fire pits, wood provided bathrooms just no showers and if you don't mind the train its not bad and the train does not blow its horn on the way by its kinda cool to watch at night.

One of the prettiest little side of the highway campgrounds we've ever stayed at. The river was only 30 meters to our door step and would lull you to sleep from its movement. The campsites are clean, spacious and pine firewood is all part of the camping fees. Great place to spend the night or a couple of days.

I would love to give 5 stars because I have camped ? here since the 1960. Great place BUT is now reserve only, all spots are empty yet all reserved as campers reserved the weekdays so they could get the place on weekends which leave an empty paid campground and we can't use. So had to camp in the bush instead. Hope they change this so we can camp first come first serve like it has been for 40 yrs before. Awesome spot. I mean taken reserved for say half the campground is fine but should not be all blocked. Tried calling the reserved phone number and no answer.

Very nice little campground, seems very popular with fishers! There is no staff on site but it was clean and well-kept, the fire pits were great and the bathrooms were in surprisingly good condition. Not much to do in the area though unless you are into fishing! Site was well-treed and the ground was relatively level for setting up a tent.
