★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I decided to visit the restaurant tonight, and we were absolutely thrilled at our meal. Jerk Chicken was very tender and tasted superb, curried goat was also exceptionally well prepared...and the portions are generous and everything is very fresh and perfectly balanced. We'll be back for sure, a GREAT addition for the Mount Albert, Zephyr, Pefferlaw, and Georgina area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello fellow BIG BEAR BAR AND GRILL lovers , my husband and I had our first experience with this “goldmine” and it was so worth it. The food was a 10/10 and the owner Natalie was so delightful she took time to personally come over and introduce herself and make us feel like we were with family.

I feel like I was back on the islands.
Such a real and friendly greeting and treatment thoughout our night. How these beautiful people found it within themselves to greet Me family with such love is beyond me, given the hit that small business and our restaurant industry has taken is beyond me and the fact that they were juggling so much; it was like walking into an old friends home!
And... the food was fresh made to order and incredible! My son had the king fish steak and was in his glory!!
Thank you!!!! ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in for lunch for the first time yesterday. What a surprise. The club sandwich was to die for and the fries are the best I've ever tasted. The selection on the menu is outstanding and the service is warm and friendly. I highly recommend this jewel on Hwy. 48 LK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the jerk pork and was not disappointed! It was so tender and bursting with flavour. My wife had the jerk chicken and she was just as pleased and impressed with it. The owners are lovely people and so eager to please. It’s obvious they are passionate about the food they prepare, and making sure their customers leave happy. Definitely will be going back to try the other offerings on the menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FINALLY! JAMAICAN FOOD! I was beyond ecstatic when I saw the menu but sceptical for sure. I would advise against ordering on skip the dishes if you can - takes waaaaay to long (for lack of drivers in the area) The owner called to confirm my order which was a friendly touch. The food ….DELICIOUS. Portions were huge. This will definitely be my new go to. I had so much left over. My husband said it was probably the best Jamaican food he’s had (besides my moms of corse ?) Such a great find. I can’t wait to actually go into the restaurant and try the food hot and fresh. These other reviews are spot on.
