★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a rear window installed on my Scion tC after it was broken into. The window was installed in August, and it recently exploded while sitting in my yard, even though there was no one even near my car at the time it broke. It was simply a glass failure, caused by either a poor install or poor quality glass. I would expect a $450 window to last longer than 6 months, so when I phoned to explain the situation, Sandy was very rude and basically told me that I was lucky that it lasted as long as it did. I understand that this type of thing can happen with tempered glass, but to me a reputable company would try to help you when it happens within 6 months of the install. Now I’am faced with a car full of glass and a $500 bill to have it repaired once again by a different company that offers a warranty. Hard to believe a shop with a good rating treats customers this poorly.
