★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the saddest Chinese food I’ve ever ate. Sweet sauce is usually red no idea what this is... beef and broccoli should have a thick brown sauce not this weird liquidy thing... but to be honest I have yet to find a good Chinese place in this town. Guess I’ll just have to deal with the fact I don’t get east coast Chinese anymore (MUCH tastier)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have revised my review from 5 to 1. New owners from Port Alberni took over and have changed it. For over 20 years I faithfully ordered here. After time away I would always order 3 Ginger Beef to bring me back home. Joe, Jackie, and Bobo kept making it the same way throughout their ownerships during that time.
I recently returned home and found my 3 orders to be the same junk I get everywhere else. The magic is gone. It's been a good run, I guess nothing lasts forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a word bland. I did order my "hot and spicy ginger beef" medium heat. But it had zero heat or flavour. The rest of the meal was just as bland.
The interior was quite nice as was the waitress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't know why I waited so long to try this restaurant. The portions are huge and the prices are decent. They have a buffet that had lots of options and everything was super fresh. I'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t give a 0 so I will give a 1. Ordered three war wonton soups tonight with my family. Ate a wonton and it tasted completely mush. Decided to cut one open, ended up cutting them all open. The pork was completely raw. The business wouldn’t even give us a refund. They offered us a credit, we didn’t take it as we will never be eating there again.
