About Bergs Excavation and Services
Bergs Excavation and Services was formed in the beginning of the 2019 year. Owned and Operated by Chris Bergen, who has over a decade of experience in the Heavy equipment industry.
In the year 2008 after leaving the Altona area working at local seed plants, he ventured to Alberta for a change. He spent 15 months operating various pieces of equipment for a car crushing company where his love for scrap metal formed.
After a slow economy, he left Alberta and went back to his home town of Altona and ended up working for a large Winnipeg based road construction company where his desire for operating heavy equipment continued.
Starting his own company has always been in the back of his mind, and after much consideration, he decided to try to make it happen.
In the fall of 2020, Chris decided to move the family and business to Stonewall, Manitoba where he will continue to pursue his dream in owning a successful excavation business.
