Bellevue Valley Lodge

Welcome to our home in the ancient hardwood mountains of Algoma!

Bellevue Valley Lodge is  25 kilometres  northeast of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, just minutes from all the best activities this region of Lake Superior has on offer.

We offer full-season accommodations, and eco-friendly activities for the outdoor enthusiast. 

​

In winter, explore our extensive backcountry on skis or snowshoes, or enjoy groomed trails and downhill skiing at local resorts. Telemark skiing is our personal backyard passion and for 25 years we have hosted a fun annual festival in February called The Snowflea Telefest.

In summer  our country roads and local trails are suitable for road and mountain biking, and amazing viewscapes abound, especially from The Voyageur Hiking Trail.  Photographers and artists will enjoy the natural beauties of the land; spring flowers, fall colours, birding, and wildlife. Canoeing, sailing and sea-kayaking are close by on Lake Superior and the adjacent Goulais River.

Our separate guest chalet has two fully equipped apartments, separately cozy for couples or when combined, able to accommodate larger groups of 10 or more. Relax in the evening by the fireplaces and indulge in the traditional Finnish sauna.
