We play volleyball there every Tuesday and Thursday in the summer, and my son place soccer there every Monday and Wednesday. I love that we can use the splash pad to wash our feet afterwards

Beautiful play structure, large and spacious. Love that there are shelters and places to sit for a picnic. There is a swing for disabled persons, and the playground is built on rubber ground which is far better than sand and wood chips. Splash pad is fun, nice and large and good for all ages - however frequently quits working and needs to be reset. There is usually someone on staff at the rec center to do this, or you can message their Facebook page to dispatch someone.

This is a great country park play area, lots of options including splash pad and picnic tables. Lost a star for minimal shade seating areas, even when the kite shade sails are in place.

We recently moved to Beckwith and have been wanting to try the trail (Goodwood Marsh Nature Trail) in Beckwith park. It is pet friendly as long as animals are on leash, they even have poop bags available at the beginning of the trail. The terrain in the main trail was a gravel pathway which is extremely easy to maneuver; making it a great spot for children, strollers and the elderly. The trail offers another trail (Maple Ridge Branch) that branches off the main trail and loops back. This one isn't a gravel path and has some rocks, still super easy terrain but not stroller friendly. Lovely at this time of year; can't wait to see it in the spring and summer!

This park is great. A good sized playground with various swings and tons of space. Surrounded by soccer fields, it's one of few public parks with some much openness. Some folks took advantage to launch some model rockets - it was great to see. The splash pad is a good size, though it was off when we visited in October, standard Ottawa splash pad.

3 recent visits to this park. Parents accompanying their children and enjoying all the wonderful play structures! There's even a water park on site, soccer field etc.

Was a very nice park for my little one. He had a great time. The swings were his favorite and they had a nice variety so we could even swing with him. There was a couple sports games going on and still the child's area wasn't too busy. Definitely becoming our go to park ?
