Great tree covered trail for the most part. Definitely need a large wheeled stroller for some of the rocks and roots if going with little ones. The birds will eat right out of your hands and fly all around. Different options for length of route.

A pleasant, short walk with plenty of wildlife and a small wetlands lookout.

This is a beautiful place on a crisp winter day. Once you get away from the congestion at the front everyone can spread out and enjoy the space. We have returned a few times. In spring bring lots of bug spray! Still a great walk but bug spray is a must. Due to the major storm in May there are lots of trees down so be careful. The crews are working hard to clear the paths but there are still obstacles. Always look up because you never know when you might see an owl.

Large parking lot with two outhouses. Popular trail with lots of friendly wildlife, including especially red squirrels, chimpunks and chickadees. Wide, easily walkable trails though to the beaver dam, where there's a boardwalk and viewing area. Beyond the beaver dam you can access Lime Kiln trail, which has an easily walkable longer version and a narrow rocky shorter version, 2.5 - 3 km long.

Nice flat trail for all season. It's also connected to other trails in area. Lots of chipmunks on this trail. You can see may trilliums in early spring.

Beautiful trail and boardwalk with lots of wildlife. Not a very challenging walk, kid friendly. Lots of parking in the area. The lime kiln ruins are nearby and they're worth walking further to.

Beautiful hiking trail and lots of wildlife. We see chipmunks and feed the chickadee birds. They come to you if you hold out your hand with bird seed. It's definitely an experience you don't want to miss!

Well maintained trail year round, however is on the shorter side amongst other trails in the area. Great variety of birds can be observed, including turkeys!
