★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, calm, and has great launching spots for canoes, kayaks and small boats. Even has a small dedicated swimming area and dock to use. Great for small kids and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice lake for swimming, connects to Cowichan Lake so boat launch busy. Not many places for boat trailers, though. Picnic tables, outhouse, nice dock , dog loves it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall it is a tiny park on a tiny lake; it was however a nice place to spend the time while waiting for our Airbnb check-in time.
(Park was clean, docks were a tad littered at the time, boat launching amenities seemed adequate)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bear lake is a lovely little park that has a boat launch a beautiful dock and pier, used for fishing, and in warmer weather swimming. There are a couple of picnic tables. Although it is not a big park it is a lovely place for families to spend some time. I like to go there a just sit and watch the world go by.
