★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited daughter, son in law and 2 grand daughters. Found the campground to be great. Inside a birch and maple forest. Very sheltered. Sadly shower facilities not operational due to Covid-19 virus. Otherwise tops!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awenda provincial park this year marks our second visit to the site, other than the fact with the first day rain both times, my friends and I all have some quality time over there. The reason we like this place is the amount of trees are nice and the density of site will provide us with enough privacy, star gazing is also amazing at the lake during the night, 10/10 place for camping:).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near the comfort station. Campsites were private and far apart enough. Though small. Really hard pressed to find a spot where the water isn't flowing downhill to at our site when it rained our tents sat on a pond makeshift as if. Still. Beach was nice. Lots of water stations. And they cleaned the comfort stations often. Plenty of toilet paper and they even had a laundry room on site

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site was exactly as advertised. The site was semi-private so you could see your neighbors but it was fully shaded from the top. The toilet facilities was walking distance and clean and the comfort station was clean and offered hot water for showers. They also offered children and adult programs. The kids and I enjoyed campfire stories offered by the Rangers, the camp staff were nice and the beaches were clear and they had a pet friendly section. Would define go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tall healthy trees surround the area, and the campsites really are quite a ways away from one another. Noise wasn't an issue while I was there, but don't be afraid to get a little loud in good fun. Be sure to bring tarps and a change of clothes, as weather around the lake is prone to change in minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a wonderful place with convenient water, washroom, shower and laundry. The firewood and check in are separate. The staff will tell you where to get firewood. There are camping supplies in park store. It’s raining when we were there, so I bought tarps from the park store.
