Best Laundromat in Canada

G	Gareth Hedges on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great disappointment for a noble-sounding venture. The wash-and-fold service takes up most of the space much of the time, including the folding tables, and best machines. There's no sense of respect for customers (I cannot speak to the wash-and-fold service). Some of the staff give off a generally unwelcoming and far-from-courteous vibe. Tiny machines will malfunction if too full, necessitating second wash. One machine actually burned our clothing and there was no avenue to redress the issue. There is however an Ellen DeGeneres-inspired pay it forward board--which only felt patronizing and insulting. Though it's a lovely neighbourhood, the interior of Beach Solar is freezing during winter and uncomfortably hot during summer (no AC, fans). We gave Beach Solar many chances as they are closest laundromat to us by far, but I can't think of a single pleasant experience had inside. This is the first negative review I've been motivated to post on the internet.
A	Alex Winch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the place (I own it), but the hours of operation on the Google page are for the Wash and Fold service. The self-serve Laundromat is open every day of the year from 5:30 am to 10:30 pm, except Christmas Day.
B	Bridget Ku on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I exclusively use the wash and fold laundry pick up and delivery and, as a young family with obligations coming at us from every angle, I can honestly say this service is the equivalent of Prince Charming showing up on a pure white steed. There are weeks that happen where we just cannot keep on top of our laundry. When this is the case, I throw everything in the VIP laundry bags they provide and place a pick up order online (or on the new app). I put the bags on the porch in the morning, they do the pick up and it comes back the SAME day washed, folded and still slightly warm. If it's your first time, you can just use garbage bags and when the laundry comes back, they will provide their heavy duty laundry bags free-of-charge. Just a note that I only send stuff that can be washed in a machine on hot and put in the dryer. For my dedicates (jeans that can't go in the dryer, lingerie, tops/sweaters that can't go in the dryer) I will do those on my own at home.. that is just my preference as I like to wash those items in a particular way. Can't say enough goodness about Beaches Solar Laundromat. Busy parents - just do it.
M	Mara Cole on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the best place EVER. So, there is a self-serve laundromat which is great. Good machines, great prices, and a place to go for coffee right next door. There is also a wash-and-fold service so I can drop my laundry off and pick it up same day at a great price. They also do pick up and delivery, and have a dry cleaning service right next door...Monk's Fine Fabric Care...which had WAY better prices and quality than anyone else I have used! Also alterations. LOVE this place! Makes my life easy.

The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because the dryer at the back top row did not dry well at all, It was the smaller load out of the 2 I had to use double the $ compared to the other one. Another customer mentioned that the dryer has been giving problems for a while so I am not sure why it hasn’t been fixed ??‍♀️
B	Becka Paul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have really been trying to like this place. I mostly go weekly but over the past months the dryers have not been good. It is costing more and more each week to dry. I really like the washers hence why I keep going back but I think yesterday was my last time. I am tired of having to take my stuff home and throwing it in another dryer to finish it off ? yes you get 6 minutes per 25cents but it’s almost like the heat has been turned down. I put a small load in the other day for 42 minutes and still had to touch it up at home for another 10 minutes.
Z	Zoë Siskos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love that this place heats their water using solar energy! What a cool idea. Also, free WiFi and great hours. Oh, and it's coin operated, not stupid card operated. Only downfall is that there isn't really a good place to sit and chill while you wait.
