β β β β β What can you say? It's the government liquor store. The selection is down market for Downtown Eastside neighborhood but the staff is always courteous and professional.

β β β β β Gets the job done. Easy to access, bike locks located by the dollarama.
Service is as expected. Selection is there. I tried to buy fernet one day but my card did work. There were 8 bottles and when I returned two days later the were sold out. This makes me think they are super busy with high product rotation.

β β β β β Very on edge about possible theft. Makes it feel a bit unwelcoming, because you're being followed so closely and watched no matter what. It's a strange and unpleasant feeling, but I understand it's the neighborhood.

β β β β β Love the service here. Love how they ask me if I want my receipt. I said yes. Incase I want to return my liquor. ??ββοΈ??? never noticed there is a 60days return on it. The clerk laughed when I said yes. Incase I want to return my liquor I just paid for. Knowing I was gonna consume it. Lol.

β β β β β The worst liquor store I've ever been to. Their selection sucks. Never have what I'm looking for. Just seem to cater to the street people. My boss likes to get something after work every day and we were working in the area for about 3 months. Would have had our business if it was a better store.

β β β β β I was in this in this store today and observed the cashier being rude to a elderly gentlemen.
It really disturbed me .
The gentleman was complaining about the price of a bag.
It does not matter how much is in your bank account
You still as a customer
Be treated with respect.

β β β β β I did the line, the guy before me was asked one piece of ID. I forgot my wallet outside. The cashier "Mark" Caucasian-tanned guy was so arrogant to me. I ran out for my wallet to get my ID, I was doing a second line, asked for, but they guy next in turn allowed me to go ahead. Then, I was requested 2 pieces of ID. I know this is part of the government rules, but the way he just talked to me was so disgusting. It seemed like he was being so demanding on purpose. I also work in the service industry, and there are manners to request something. I never experienced that bad service before in Vancouver.
